Yampa River Kayakers

I was painting at this spot on the Yampa River recently when several kayakers came floating down the river. Their colorful kayaks were hard to miss. I took photos and painted them from the photos. When I look at the painting, I remember the breeze and how the sun was sparkling on the water. Steamboat Springs is such a lovely place to paint!!!
